Orthopedic Surgeons
Dr. Mark Ernst
Dr. Ernst graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Saskatchewan in 1997. In addition, he completed a Sports Medicine, Shoulder & Knee Fellowship at the University of Calgary Sports Medicine Center in 1998. He also completed a Diploma in Sports Medicine in 1999, and is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Ernst works as the orthopedic consultant for the Saskatoon Blades (WHL), Saskatoon Hilltops (CJFL) and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. Dr. Ernst is currently a clinical assistant professor in the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine. His clinical interest and expertise includes arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction, and athletic related injuries.
Dr. Mario Taillon
Dr. Taillon graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine in 1987 with Great Distinction. Following internship at Saskatoon City Hospital in1988, he completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Alberta in 1992. In addition, he completed a Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy & Upper Extremity Fellowship in Eugene, Oregon in 1993. He also became American Board Certified in 1996. He has worked as the orthopedic consultant for the Calgary Hitmen (WHL) (1995-1998), the Calgary Flames (NHL) (1994-1996), the Calgary Stampeders (CFL) (1994-1998), the University of Saskatchewan Huskies(1998-present), and the Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL) (2000-2005). His clinical interest and expertise includes arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction, and athletic related injuries. Dr. Taillon is currently a clinical associate professor in the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine.
Dr. David Kim
Dr. Kim graduated from the University of British Columbia College of Medicine in 1996. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. In addition, he completed an Athletic Injuries and Arthroscopy Fellowship at the University of British Columbia in 2002. Dr. Kim is currently a clinical assistant professor in the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine. Dr. Kim also works as an orthopedic consultant for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. His clinical interest and expertise includes arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction, and athletic related injuries.
Dr. Allan Woo
Dr. Woo graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine in 1994. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Saskatchewan in 1999. In addition, he completed a Hip Fellowship in Bern, Switzerland in 1999, a Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2000, and a Spine Fellowship at the University of Alberta in 2001. Dr. Woo is currently a clinical assistant professor in the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine. His clinical interest and expertise includes the spine, and hip & knee arthroplasty.
Dr. David Sauder
Dr. Sauder graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine in 2000 with great distinction. After completing a year in family medicine residency in Regina, he finished his orthopedic residency at the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. During residency, he won and national award for a research project. He then became a fellow in Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He then traveled to London , Ontario and completed a fellowship at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre. Here he furthered his interest in the upper extremity. His clinical interest and expertise includes arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Dr. Andrew Urmson
Dr. Urmson graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 2003 with Great Distinction. After completing an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008, he travelled to Toronto, Ontario, for a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Sunnybrook Health Centre. Dr Urmson is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, an ATLS Instructor, and AONA faculty. His clinical interests include orthopaedic trauma and post traumatic complications.

Dr. Johann Kriegler
Johann Kriegler graduated with his MBBCh from Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1983. From 1989 to 1991 he attended an orthopedic residency at the University of Saskatchewan. He has also been involved with the University of Saskatchewan men’s hockey program as a physician from 1998 to 2004. His expertise and interest includes general orthopedic and primary care sports medicine, as well as general practice and emergency medicine.

JENNA KOBIELA
Jenna Kobiela is a Kinesiologist and Bracing Technician who graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc (Hons) Kinesiology degree in Exercise and Sports Studies. Jenna is also a fitness instructor at two local gyms in Saskatoon and remains actively involved in the fitness community. Jenna joined our team in 2016 and is educated in all of our bracing products. Additionally she attended the Ossur Bracing Academy Conference and BREG conference to further her knowledge with specific brands and products.

Dr. Patrick LinG
Dr. Patrick Ling completed medical school at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and then completed a family medicine residency in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He obtained special competency in emergency medicine through the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM) and served as the emergency medicine program director at the University of Saskatchewan for 10 years.
During his emergency medicine practice, he realized the incredible potential of ultrasound for improving patient care. He completed a visiting fellowship in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal sonography at Jefferson University in Philadelphia, USA. Dr. Patrick Ling is the first physician in Canada to obtain credential in musculoskeletal ultrasound (RMSK) and is recognized as a pioneer in MSK US by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Dr. Ling was awarded a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine by the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM).
Dr. Ling has treated students, seniors, children, local and provincial athletes along with CFL, NHL, and Olympic athletes from Saskatchewan. His current practice includes management of acute, chronic and inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions; incorporating diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound.
